MapMarker® fluorescent DNA sizing standards are ideal for fragment analysis applications as they provide consistent intensities and migration patterns for DNA sizing. All MapMarker® standards are available with all of the most commonly used fluorescent dyes including, tetramethylrhodamine (TMR), x-rhodamine (ROX), fluorescein (FAM), Radiant Dye 632 (orange channel) and custom dyes upon request.
Each standard contains multiple bands each consisting of a single DNA strand labeled with a single fluorophore, ranging in size from 50 to 1500 base pairs. MapMarker® size standards are free of extraneous peaks, produce consistent within run and between run sizing and are free of "pull up" signal in other channels all in order to provide accurate base calling and precision sizing of samples. In addition, these standards are compatible with the most commonly used fluorescent-based separation instruments systems, including fluorescent capillary electrophoresis systems and genetic analyzers.
